Hey Hey ....
This post is dedicated to the bold collection of VeraWang.. Here's the back story to why I chose this collection.
I have always observed that in India especially silence is mostly mistook for being weak. For not being strong enough. Which is kind of sad because I feel silence is really empowering. I love Meryl Streep play Miranda in The devil wears Prada. Notice how she is mostly quiet and even when she talks she talk in hushed tones. In an interview she said this a trick to make people lean in which makes you automatically in power.
I have observed of few people in my life who are always judging and making fun, I wonder if they even know whats the other person is going through. A very dear friend wrote an article on caring, what true caring is. That when we say take care, what exactly are our intentions behind it. Wouldnt it be nice if they would just take a step back and just ask the other person how are they doing? Wouldnt it be kinder of them to actually know the issues in others life than just judging away?
This post is dedicated to all the positive people in my life who are bold and caring. They are not afraid to care. Its also dedicated to me. It portrays my silent and confident stance. I love this collection because it shows how a strong women is: Silent, observant, poised.
